Who we are
Isaac Ekamonle, a sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) registered in France under SIRET 850 131 467 00027, trading as eBikes For Sale, 14 Cours du Sud, 92140 Clamart, France. Email: contact@ebikesforsale.co.uk, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
What we collect
- Order details: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number and order history.
- Payment details are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number.
- Messages you send through our contact form or to our team from the Miles help chat: name, email, topic, order number, your message and the chat that came before it. Questions you only ask Miles are answered inside your browser and are not sent to us.
- If you subscribe to The Morning Ride: your email address and the date and page where you subscribed. You can unsubscribe with one click from any newsletter.
- If you enter your email at checkout but do not complete payment, we may send you one reminder about that order, around an hour later. No other emails follow.
- After you order, we use your name and email to send you one review request about your purchase, around two weeks later.
- If you accept analytics cookies and add something to your basket: a session recording of how you used the site (typed details hidden, card details never recorded), kept 30 days on our own server to fix checkout problems.
Why we use it
- To process and deliver your order (contract).
- To provide customer support and handle returns and faults (contract and legitimate interests).
- To send The Morning Ride newsletter (consent).
- To meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
- To improve the website, only with your consent (consent).
Who we share it with
Stripe (payments), the delivery company for your order, and our hosting provider. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for 6 years for tax purposes. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is kept only as long as needed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time by emailing contact@ebikesforsale.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
